MANUEL-TURIZO
Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He has made major global breakthroughs into the Latin pop mainstream. In the year 2017 the hit song from 2016 Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. His debut album ADN was issued through La Industria Inc., which is a Medellin-based Sony distribution firm. The album climbed to number 8 in the Top Latin Albums Chart. Vaina Loca is the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007, saw him join Ozuna. The group released Dopamina the chart-topping second album, in the year following. Then in 2021 he sang a duet on TINI's streaming smash track Maldita Foto. The hit song La Bachata from 2000 was published in 2023. Turizo is a product of a household of music the mother of his younger brother and father have been musicians. He has said in interviews that music is compulsory. When he was young, he taught to play the piano, guitar and ukulele. The initial goal was to become a vet, but his brother Julian convinced him to study singing with an instructor from a Cuban teacher. The end result was that he realized his talent for singing and altered the direction of his life.
